Bohinj is well known for its cheese, which is similar to the Swiss Emmental and other dairy products such as cottage cheese, sour milk … and the famous spreadable cheese Mohant with a strong specific smell and taste. Further for its dried meat products (sausage, pork greaves/ cracklings, minced lard, bacon …), trout, Studor garlic, honey and honey products and flour from autochthonous Bohinj corn (pink-black) named Trdinka.
