You choose how you travel.
We’ll show you the way.
You can reach Bled via A2 Highway and from there it’s about 30 minutes drive on 209 regional road. Please expect delays due to heavy traffic coming through Bled in high season.
Coming through Ribčev Laz you will pass a rocky bridge to your right but you keep slightly left on 904 regional road. After about 4 km you will see Camp Zlatorog Bohinj to your left. Turn right at the crossroads then right again after about 50m.
Welcome to Camp Bohinj!

You can reach Bohinj on a direct bus that takes only two hours. Main stops are also in Kranj, Radovljica, Lesce and Bled.
Camp’s nearest bus stop is called VOGEL KRIŽIŠČE/VOGEL CROSSROAD, and if you miss that one, you can exit the bus on the final bus stop BOHINJ UKANC, which is only 5-minute walk back towards the campsite.
In high season, bus goes every full hour between 6AM and 5PM.
You can purchase the bus ticket from the bus driver (they prefer correct amount or smaller notes), through their website or on the main bus station (Ljubljana).
Train can be an excellent choice of transport, especially for those who use Interrail. You can reach Bohinjska Bistrica, which is the main town in Bohinj, by train from Ljubljana or Jesenice. From there, you can take a bus to VOGEL KRIŽIŠČE/VOGEL CROSSROAD.
Anyone travelling from Soča area (close to Italy), can catch even a car train from MOST NA SOČI and it will bring you through nice scenery and some long tunnels all the way to Bohinjska Bistrica. This way there are no worries about the traffic and all those windy roads constantly going uphill and downhill. Vehicle size limitations are 3m in height and 2,4m in width.
