Check-out is from opening of the reception to 11:00 AM. To avoid any additional charges, we encourage you to plan to leave within this time frame.

You may leave earlier, in this case check-out the evening before, at the reception.

Identety documents for each guest, this applies to all ages. In addition, it is mandatory to provide the vehicle registration number. Please make sure that your documents are ready when you arrive at the reception. Your documents will be returned to you immediately after check-in.

You can reserve a pitch through our booking system available on the front page of our website. The process is quick and simple. A valid credit or debit card is necessary to secure your reservation. Supported providers are: Mastercard, Maestro, Visa and Diners/Discovery.

To confirm the reservation of the pitch, a deposit of 50% of the total service cost is required. After the transaction is completed, we will send an official reservation confirmation to your email address, along with a receipt for the transaction. This prepayment will be deducted from the final amount at Check-Out. If we are unable to process your credit card for this deposit, your reservation will not be confirmed.

We accept bookings for one night in pre and post season. In high season, we regret to inform you that we do not accept reservations for a one-night stay. However, you are welcome to come to our campsite and select a spot, subject to availability upon your arrival. We recommend arriving between 12:00 PM and 19.00 PM, after check-out time, to increase your chances of getting a spot.

Unfortunately, we do not accept reservations or inquiries made by phone, Instagram, or Messenger. All bookings must be completed through the campsite’s automated booking system, which is accessible on the front page of our website. All the necessary tools and information are available there. For general questions or assistance, please feel free to contact us at info@camp-bohinj.si.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a specific pitch number due to the campsite’s general conditions. However, if your preferred pitch is available at the time of your booking, we will be happy to allocate it to you. Please keep in mind that we reserve the right to change your pitch number if unforeseen circumstances arise, ensuring that your overall camping experience remains enjoyable and accommodating.

If available in our system, we would be happy to exchange your pitch upon your arrival at the campsite.

Please be aware that discounts from various camping cards are not shown in our online booking system. If you are a member of Avtokampi.si, ADAC (camping), ACSI, or ANWB, please present your membership card at check-in or check-out at the reception. We will then apply the appropriate discount based on the current rates. Discounts are not applicable in high season.

We accept payments in cash or credit card (Mastercard, Maestro, Visa).

You can modify your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival date, subject to availability. If you need to increase the number of pitches or guests, you will be charged according to the campsite’s current price list.

The most common reason for not receiving a confirmation letter is an incorrectly spelled email address. Your confirmation letter may have also been filtered into your spam or junk folder. If you haven’t printed or made a photo of your confirmation letter after booking and have checked your spam/junk mailbox without finding it, please contact us at info@camp-bohinj.si.

While the online booking portal only allows you to reserve specific parcelled zones of the campsite, we also offer a small area with a few pitches where reservations are not accepted.

If available, it is possible to book on site without a reservation upon arrival at the campsite.

In the tent zone, we keep space available for guests traveling by public transport or by bicycle.

At check-in, you will need to confirm your departure date. If you depart early, you will be charged for the cost of your pitch until the end of your originally booked stay. Please note that if you leave early due to illness or force majeure, you will not incur these charges.

Guests can cancel their reservations through the online interface where they confirmed their booking or via email. 

Free cancellation is allowed up to 7 days before the arrival date, and the full amount of the advance payment will be refunded to the guest. If a reservation is canceled 7 days or less before arrival, the provider will retain the entire amount of the advance payment. In the case of no-shows, the provider will also retain the full advance payment. If a guest departs earlier than planned, the provider is not obligated to refund any portion of the amount paid. 

In the event of force majeure, if the provider has to cancel the guest’s reservation, the guest will receive a full refund. Conversely, if a guest has to cancel their reservation due to force majeure, they are entitled to a refund only upon submitting the relevant documentation no later than 5 days after the original check in date.

Guests have the right to cancel their reservation due to force majeure circumstances, such as natural disasters, sudden illness, or any other unforeseen event that prevents travel. In such cases, the guest is entitled to a full refund of the funds paid or to a free cancellation, provided that the reservation is canceled no later than one day before the scheduled start date of the reservation. To initiate the cancellation process, guests must formally cancel their reservation by submitting a written request. It is essential to support any claim of force majeure with valid official documentation, such as medical certificates or government notices, which clearly demonstrate that the situation was both unforeseen and unavoidable. This documentation must be provided at the time of cancellation to facilitate the refund process.

“Force Majeure” means any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of a party, which could not have been foreseen, prevented, or overcome through reasonable measures, and which prevents or materially delays the performance of that party’s obligations. Such events may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, floods, storms, earthquakes, wildfires, epidemics, pandemics, acts of government, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, utility outages, or other extraordinary events beyond the affected party’s control.

This can be done via email to info@camp-bohinj.si or in person at the camp’s reception. Please ensure that the cancellation request is submitted by 13:00 the day before the start of the trip to be eligible for a refund.

There is a motorhome service station located at the campsite, along the main road, in front of the toilet building. You can ask at the reception for directions.

We warmly welcome all pets to our campsite! To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times while on the premises. This helps ensure their safety, as well as that of other campers and wildlife. Pets are allowed access to the lake only outside the main public beach. 

Additionally, please remember to clean up after your pets promptly. By taking these small but important steps, you will help us maintain a clean, enjoyable, and peaceful environment for all our guests.

All guests at the campsite will have access to free Wi-Fi.

Yes, the tap water is drinkable at the campsite.

Open fires aren’t allowed on the campsite for safety and environmental reasons.

While we do not have standalone fridges available for rent at the campsite.

There is a freezer located at the reception, where you can freeze your cooling elements or simply bottles of water to keep your cooling boxes cold.

Electricity is available through electrical distribution boxes located throughout the campsite. Guests will need either a Europlug (2-pin) or a CEE plug (3-pin) to connect.

Each electrical distribution box in the Zlatorog, Jezero and Jasa Zones is equipped with 12 SCHUKO outlets and 6 CEE outlets. All outlets provide a power supply of 16 A.

Each electrical distribution box in the Gozd Zone is equipped with 16 SCHUKO outlets. All outlets provide a power supply of 10 A.

Adapters and extension cables are available for loan at the campsite reception, subject to availability.

The campsite offers a variety of sports activities, including a ping pong table, football and volleyball courts, a football golf course, and rentals for mountain bikes and electric bikes, paddle boards, and canoes. In collaboration with our partners at Pac Sport, we also organize rafting, kayaking, and canyoning. Additionally, we work with Kumulus Paragliding to arrange paragliding experiences.

Yes, it is possible to visit the camp as a day visitor.

At the parking meter or parking fee collector, you pay the amount according to the number of days of parking.

In 2021, the Municipality of Bohinj adopted an amended Traffic Regulation Ordinance, which prohibits cycling along the northern shore of Lake Bohinj – between Mrenš and Ukanc.

Please take this into account.

For a pleasant and safe cycling experience, we recommend a well-maintained and picturesque cycling route. It is approximately 12 kilometers long and suitable for most recreational cyclists. Part of the route is also intended for mountain bikers: a macadam section leads over the Senožet saddle towards Brod, which is not recommended for inexperienced cyclists due to its difficulty. They can continue on the regional road or turn around.

The weather in Bohinj is unpredictable in all seasons – one moment the sun is warming you, and the next the sky can darken and bring a storm.

You may be familiar with the proverb: “V Bohin’ ma d’ž ta mvade”, which rightly emphasizes that it often rains in Bohinj.

Therefore, we recommend that you always take an umbrella with you when visiting – regardless of the promising weather forecast. A palermo and waterproof shoes are also useful.

Camp’s nearest bus stop is called VOGEL KRIŽIŠČE/VOGEL CROSSROAD, and if you miss that one, you can exit the bus on the final bus stop BOHINJ UKANC, which is only a 5-minute walk back towards the campsite.

With train you can reach Bohinjska Bistrica, which is the main town in Bohinj. From there, you can take a bus to VOGEL KRIŽIŠČE/VOGEL CROSSROAD.

Yes, you can swim in the lake. Pets are not allowed to swim on the main beach of the lake, but they can swim at the smaller beaches near the campsite.
